NapNic Quick Pic: African Wax Print Skirts!

I met vendor- SemirahJ- at the Vixens Studio Natural Hair Event in Philly a few ago- and her charming little girl, Amethyst.

And I’ve been OBSESSED with her convertible, maxi and knee length African Wax Print skirts- ever since!

I literally switched my outfit at the event- and walked the streets of Philly in my skirt- like royalty. Haha!

When I got back to Baltimore, I immediately reached out to Semirahj to find out how to get more! Turns out she’s an NYC based designer- with a full shop in Fulton Mall (Brooklyn). She travels to regional Natural Hair Shows (back in Philly on June 7th for the Philly Natural Hair Show I’m hosting!), and sells skirts through her Instagram page- @semirahjewelry.

Welp…like the crazy curly I am, I stalked the page for the next 48 hrs, and ordered two skirts with colors that just spoke to me- one full length, and one knee. They just arrived today- and are absolutely. drop dead. Gorgeous!

I just love them.

And I couldn’t stop looking at myself while trying to take a decent pic to share with my curlies- I just couldn’t BELIEVE the girl in the pic was ME?! Hahaha! See…

I’m so happy and pleased. And I just had to share the awesome find!

If you’re interested- It’s easy to order yours too! Just pick your favorite skirt from @semirahjewelry’s Instagram page- and comment sold. Email semirahj@gmail.com, your shipping address and picture of the skirt, and she’ll send a paypal invoice (credit/debit card, or checking account!) to you and ship!

Have a terrific weekend, Curlies!

I have three! I got my first one in NYC at the Taliah Waajid Expo and the second two at The Naturalista Show in Silver Spring this past weekend! They make you feel like a queen wearing them right?! :)
